Voice Studio Rates & Policies
Voice lessons for the serious student are an essential and worthwhile investment of time and money. For those who are currently engaged in a professional performing or teaching career, lessons provide a pathway to continued health and vocal longevity, as well as a more profound realization of improved efficiency and coordination, along with increased range, intensity, freedom, and tonal beauty.
For the pre-professional student with a dedicated work ethic and the talent/aptitudes to aspire to opera or musical theatre careers, the financial investment in voice lessons has been repeatedly demonstrated to yield financial returns of up to One Hundred and Thirty-two times the dollar-amount invested (many scholarships totaling $120,000 to $264,000 over a conservatory career), as well as admission, in these competitive times, to America's top music conservatories.
Private singing lessons are by audition for talented and motivated/serious students of all ages and experiential levels. Classical, contemporary/commercial and music theatre genres welcome.
Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Make yourself comfortable, including availing yourself of the restroom, helping yourself to bottled water in the refrigerator door, and then just wait - prepare yourself for your lesson, practice piano, or play with my dog (and teaching assistant), Ragamuffin, who will be happy to see you, as she anticipates a treat at the start of your lesson.
